ENCOS Safety and Industrial Hygiene (IH) Services is committed to the prevention of accidents, injuries, and illness in the workplace by providing our clients with a safe and effective means to achieve regulatory compliance. ENCOS Safety and IH Services Programs are designed to meet specific client needs while meeting regulatory compliance. ENCOS maintains a competent and knowledgeable staff of Safety Personnel and Industrial Hygiene Technicians (IHT) whose job duty is to perform in strict adherence to federal and state regulations.
Compliance Manuals:
ENCOS will develop a customized Safety Manual that provides an overview/guide to ensure that all health and safety issues are addressed. Each safety manual procedures and practices affecting the health and safety of the employees will comply with all state and federal laws and regulations. The health and safety program is designed to create awareness among management and employees and is designed to minimize the risk of accidents and illnesses by attempting to identify and eliminate the conditions, which cause them.
Safety Audits: |
|
ENCOS Safety personnel are available to conduct various site compliance audits and inspections. Through our inspection, the client can achieve an understanding of potential non-compliance issues. By having a third-party audit, the client can receive an objective evaluation of the existing safety program. Through our audits and adherence to our recommendations, clients may achieve lower insurance rates. |
Noise Survey:
ENCOS IHT’s are available to conduct noise surveys with state-of-the-art techniques and equipment. Each survey will obtain specific noise levels at each workstation, plot the data on a site plot plan, define the areas where hearing protection is required, and define the noise levels that employees have exposure to. ENCOS will work with the clients to determine the scope of work needed for each specific facility.
Personnel Monitoring:
Area Monitoring:
Asbestos Air Monitoring: |
|
ENCOS’s monitoring and data collection capabilities are technologically advanced and quality assured. The use of battery operated pumps (Sensidyne BDX-II) for air monitoring has allowed us to expand our services to include industrial clients. All PCM cassettes are analyzed using the NIOSH 7400 method, and all TEM cassettes are analyzed using the NIOSH 7402 method. |
Lead Monitoring:
Our lead air monitoring is conducted in accordance with LDEQ, EPA, and OSHA regulations. ENCOS uses a selection of high volume and personal pumps to complete each lead personnel and area monitoring job. Each 37 mm MCE air sampling cassettes will be analyzed using the NIOSH 7082 method. A detailed report will be provided to the client after completion of each job. |
